Dark clay with shell fragments, modified by culture. Tree, 12 m. Basal diam., 40 cm. Crown diam., 8 m. Broad crown, branched sparingly. Bark very dark brown, almost smooth, with straight vertical, ribbon-like ridges, ca. 2 cm. wide. Male cones brownish. Female flowers green.
