Description: Plant height 19 cm, width 9 cm; single club-shaped stem, olive green; rib count 15; spines ca 20, varying lengths, light gray with darker tips and some with a band of orange between the gray and the dark tips; flowers collected late morning, diameter 31 mm, length 45-50 mm, outer perianth bluish-pink with light green at base, inner perianth satiny bluish-pink with light yellow at base (color does not show on prints but is evident at the edges of the tepals on the original digital photos), tepal margins smooth and tips pointed; stigma lobe number 6-8, cream; style white; filaments white; anthers light yellow; fruit elliptical, fleshy, light rose in color, diameter 11-12 mm, length 18-21 mm; seeds black.
