Habitat: Spoilbanks and edges of floating marsh. Soil characteristics: Allemands Muck (AR)- very deep, very poorly drained soils that are rapidly permeable in the organic materials and very slowly permeable in the underlying clay horizon. Associated plant species: Cyperus odoratus, Sonchus asper, Bowlesia incana, and Rumex obovatus. Abundant.
