Habitat: N-facing slope along seasonal drainage in pinyon-oak-juniper woodland.
Associated Species: Quercus arizonica, Quercus emoryi, Juniperus deppeana, Pinus discolor, Yucca madrensis, Muhlenbergia rigens, Muhlenbergia emersleyi, Bouvardia ternifolia, Rhus aromatica, Garrya wrightii, Erythrina flabelliformis, Piptochaetium, Cosmos parviflorus, Commelina dianthifolia.
Description: Perennial grass, 1 m.
Occurrence Remarks: PAPAZ; duplicates to ARIZ, USON.
