Habitat: Open area of estero between the mangroves shallow water at low tide.
Description: The tops of the plants barely exposed, all with new growlh, no reproductive parts Ruppia is a foundation for many invertebrates, ophioroid. flat worm, jelatinous ptenophore, Hypsilideras (a very large nudibranch). sponges, small gastropods, an anelid worm, etc.
