Locality: United States, Wisconsin, Winnebago, on state route 21 at Westowne Avenue, about 100 yards west of the junction of 21 with U.S. 41.

Habitat: in planted and mowed median strip
Description: Fls. pink; fruiting calices dull greenish-tan, with only a hint of pink color. These specimens were out at the edge, with the stems bearing the inflated fruiting calices hanging over the edge of a concrete curb, where the lawnmower could not reach.
Occurrence Remarks: Abundantly established in planted and mowed median strip
